Kurran Primary School

On Wednesday the 1st of February I was delighted to join Minister for Education, Natalie Hutchins MP to officially open Kurrun Primary School alongside, Principal Gavan Hughes, teachers, staff, parents, officials and most importantly students.

This fantastic new school is one of the 13 new schools opening in our state this year.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet students and families and great to hear the kids gave a rating of 1,000,000/1,000,000!!! That's a pretty good satisfaction rating.

I look forward to being a part of the school community and watching you grow.

Pakenham Level Crossing Removals

By 2024, our fast-tracked projects in removing level crossings at McGregor Road, Main Street and Racecourse Road means there’ll be 6 MCGs worth of open community space underneath the new elevated rail bridge. This will change the way Pakenham looks- boosting safety and easing congestion, making trips to and from work much easier.
